3 INCHES OF BLOOD Drummer Offering Lessons
October 20, 2010Drummer Ash Pearson of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based traditional metallers 3 INCHES OF BLOOD will be offering lessons to drummers in the Vancouver/Burnaby area during November/early December "and some more time in months to come." He states, "Those who have a moderate grasp of rock/metal drumming can email me at [email protected]."

"Silent Killer" comes off the band's latest album, "Here Waits Thy Doom", which was reissued on June 29 as a Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival edition with four exclusive new tracks along with a bonus DVD featuring the video for "Battles and Brotherhood", 3 INCHES OF BLOOD's performance on Fuel TV and more.
3 INCHES OF BLOOD filmed its May 21 and May 22 hometown shows for the band's first-ever concert DVD.
"Here Waits Thy Doom" sold around 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 8 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
3 INCHES OF BLOOD's previous album, "Fire Up The Blades", opened with 5,300 copies to enter The Billboard 200 chart at No. 147.
"Here Waits Thy Doom" was released on September 8, 2009 via Century Media Records (August 31 in Europe). The CD was recorded at Seattle's London Bridge Studios with renowned producer Jack Endino (HIGH ON FIRE).
